We offer opportunities for OR Scrub Technicians as well as OR / PACU Aide/Technician positions. Our facility is staffed by Medical Billing, Scheduling and Reception. Additionally, we offer employment opportunities for PAs and RNFAs. All Ambulatory Surgery Center positions are Monday-Friday, Days, No-Nights, No-Weekends, No-Call.

Job Opportunities with Capital Region Orthopaedics

Medical Assistant

Capital Region Orthopaedics is seeking a Medical Assistant to work with physicians and patients in our busy orthopaedic clinic.  Our Medical Assistants will work with any of the orthopaedic physicians performing the duties listed below. MA certification is not required. Must have knowledge of computers.

*Please note that this position does not involve clinical duties such as H&Ps, patient vitals, blood draws, etc.*  

• Escorts pt to room
• Takes a history
• Reviews charts to ensure the physician has all pertinent reports for the visit.
• Calls to obtain reports if not in charts
• Refers pts to outside facilities with physician direction
• Pulls up x-rays
• Facilities patient flow between cast room, x-ray and exam rooms
• Schedules diagnostic testing w/ Physician direction
• Writes scripts under the direction of a physician(PT, meds, blood work, diagnostic testing)
• Cleans/stocks pods
• Helps to fill out disability forms

The position is full time days.

Medical Records:

Capital Region Orthopaedics is seeking a professional, focused, high energy candidate to join our Medical Records Department.

Duties include: 

• Pulling & filing back patient charts with 100% thoroughness and accuracy
• Responsible for finding patient charts that have not yet been returned to the Medical Records Dept
• Perform other clerical tasks such as answering phones & using the fax machine.

The position is Full Time Days.
